Our facility was designed so that you will have a pleasant and comfortable experience on the day of your procedure. First, you will enter the on the west side under our covered driveway and will be greeted by one of our friendly receptionist staff members. After registration, you will be taken to one of our preoperative bays for a nurse assessment. All of our preoperative and postoperative bays are immediately adjacent to our central nurse's work station. After preoperative assessment is completed by our nursing staff, you will have an opportunity to discuss the plan of care with the anesthesiologist and surgeon. Please do not hesitate to ask questions about any part of your treatment plan. Next you will be taken to one of our state-of-the-art operating rooms for your procedure or surgery. Finally, you will arrive back in one of our postoperative recovery rooms. We are pleased to have two private recovery rooms for optimal comfort. When you are ready for discharge you will be taken via wheelchair back to our covered driveway where your vehicle will be ready.
Our facility is small compared to some of the large hospitals in the area. However, we have all of the appropriate internal systems in place to meet the highest standards of safety for outpatient surgery. This includes fire prevention systems, electrical power back-up systems, and clean air-flow in the operating rooms to minimize the risk of infection.
